My name is Sarah Davis and over the past four summers, I have traveled to Romania to serve with the children of Global Hope. Global Hope is a non-profit organization operating with the mission of providing hands-on Christian love to the orphans of Romania. Global Hope currently owns and operates three family homes for abandoned Romanian children. 23 children have become a part of the Global Hope family over the past 10 years.
Over the years, I have formed life-long, special relationships with the children, staff and missionaries of Global Hope. The Lord has blessed my time there and has revealed His heart for these special kids. I now feel God calling me to return to Romania and serve there full-time. I will be graduating from college soon and am now making plans to return to Romania at the beginning of 2007. I will be posting blogs about the preparation process over the next few months and will also be posting blogs from Romania when I get back, so stay tuned!

This picture was taken this summer when took all of the Global Hope kids to camp in a village called Marga. One day, we drove to the top of a mountain and this cross memorial was there. I am sitting with Mama Gabi (she is the house mother of Global Hope's newest family home: Steven's House) and her daughter Andrada.
